What You’ll Do
Backend Development:
- Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Nest.js.
- Work with MongoDB to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Write clean, reusable backend code in TypeScript.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance.
Collaboration & Integration:
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and features into the platform.
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Write documentation to support ongoing development and ease of use for future developers.
Learning & Growth:
- Gain hands-on experience working in a collaborative environment while contributing to meaningful projects.
- Learn and expand your technical skills through mentorship from experienced engineers.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Node.js and backend frameworks like Nest.js.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and basic database operations.
- Understanding of REST API design and HTTP methods.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Familiarity with version control using Git.
- Basic knowledge of Postman for testing APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms like DigitalOcean or AWS.
